First time playing this course , went with three other friends for a pre wedding round of golf . When you go from playing other courses in the area like mallard and step out on a course like the 500 club it’s almost surreal. The fairways were perfect , bunkers and greens looked perfect. Hole layouts were fun and challenging. Staff is professional and friendly, even when reminding you to keep the pace up ( we were playing a bit slow trying to take in the scenery). If you’re new at golf I would take some time practicing at a course like Mallard, Lakewood, or Twin oaks . This is the kind of course that you want to be able to come out hit the best shot you can , keep a good pace and play at the highest level.
